I rarely think people would cats as better than dogs, because dogs are kinder and playful, while people think cats are harsh and can harm us. I personally like cats and dogs, because I have both cats and dogs.
I think dogs are far way better than cats. Dog are loyal and listen and become your best friend over time. Dogs are playful and love to spend time with their owners. I personally, love to come home to an animal who greets me with tail wagging and dog kisses. Cats on the other hand, are the exact opposite!
